About our Motel

Ravensthorpe is a special little town, occupied with people who have a vested interest in the past, in the present, and appreciate that you are travelling through their open and isolated piece of the golden outback.

The Ravensthorpe Motel is situated on a 5-acre parcel of land which provides ample room for the children to run, and dogs to be walked.

The Ravensthorpe Motel provides day rates for weary travellers who need to have a brief sleep and a hot shower. At the Ravensthorpe Motel you will be walking distance from every amenity we have to offer.

Finding us is easy - you do not have to deviate from the South Coast Highway to find us, we are located on the east side of town between the Shell roadhouse and the heavy haulage bypass.

We are pet friendly! We understand how difficult it can be travelling with your trusted companion, so we have set aside space to accommodate you both. We do have some pet friendly rooms available on request at an extra cost of $50 on the room booking to cover any accidents or incidents that may occur.

Parking is free of charge, and our facility can accommodate trailers, boats, campers, and even semi-trailers whenever required.

Booking payment must be made in full upon completion and confirmation of the reservation. No refunds will be given for cancellations within 48 hours of reservation booking. Check in must be completed by 6.30pm

Our Town

The Shell Roadhouse Cafe sits ajacent to the Motel there are no contract rates on food and beverage. Cafe is open between 5.30am and 8pm. At the Ravensthorpe Motel you will be walking distance from every amenity we have to offer.

If there is anything our office cannot provide for you with our systems, the Community Resource Centre will most certainly be able to handle.

If you are short on food supplies our Food Works will accomodate. Many food choices can be found in the town.

There is a Machinery Museum in the Town to browse old types of Machinery.

A wide variety of prepared foods can be found in Ravensthorpe, including authentic dishes from India and Africa among many other tasty treats.

If you require propane for your travels, the Ravensthorpe agencies will be happy to assist you. Any DIY repairs you have to facilitate on your gear, or on your equipment can be sorted with a quick visit to the Ravensthorpe Building Supply Centre (RBS) hardware store located on the main street.

Both children and adults are pleasantly surprised when they walk into the Fitzgerald Coast Information Centre to find that it is a museum filled with priceless photos and articles from the pioneering days.
